Andrew Schulz has responded to Kendrick Lamar allegedly dissing him on his new album GNX.
On a current DJ Akademiks reside stream, the media character shared that he lately spoke to Schulz about lyrics from the track “wacced out murals” that some thought addressed Schulz and his current feedback about Black ladies.
“Don’t let no white comic discuss no Black ladies—that’s regulation,” Lamar rapped.
“His response was, ‘Is that this man too woke to know a joke?” stated Akademiks, referencing their alleged dialog.
Whereas Lamar doesn’t title Schulz instantly, the comic’s feedback about Black ladies on an episode of the Flagrant podcast from August led many to take a position that the rapper was referencing him.
British podcasters James Duncan and Fuhad Dawodu of the ShxtsNGigs podcast appeared on Flagrant on the time and had a dialog in regards to the “Black Girlfriend Impact” pattern on TikTok.
“You’ll see a man who’s had a Black girlfriend, and hastily he’s obtained a buzz minimize, clear shape-up, tattoos,” Duncan joked.
Their dialog shifted when Schulz introduced up the stereotype of the “indignant Black girl,” saying, “They shave their hair as a result of they begin dropping it from being so careworn, being round this Black woman that’s complaining about sh-t all of the fucking time.”
“They develop a beard as a result of there’s extra cushion after they get slapped,” he continued. “I believe the Black Girlfriend Impact is likely to be a protecting intuition.”
In a later episode of the ShxtsNGigs podcast, Duncan and Dawodu issued an apology. “Andrew was making a joke, frankly a racist joke, and we had been laughing at it,” Duncan stated.
“We’re sorry. For me it’s considered one of them ones the place you don’t understand that, whenever you’re a part of a group, you don’t understand you’ll be able to damage your personal group,” Dawodu added.
