Ari Lennox is cooking up new music. The D.C. native was just lately within the studio with legendary hitmakers Jermaine Dupri and Bryan-Michael Cox.

Dupri shared a few behind-the-scenes movies of him and Cox in a studio with Lennox.

The primary clip, shared on Thursday (June 20), confirmed the 2 legends alongside Lennox, R&B singer and songwriter Jai’Len Josey, and singer-songwriter Gabrielle Rodgers.

“First day again within the studio with @arilennox @bryanmichaelcox @jailenjosey & @elleirbmi,” Dupri wrote. 

On Saturday (June 22), Dupri posted one other clip with the identical crew, plus R&B singer and songwriter Ant Clemons and A&R government Jaha Johnson.

“Hit data are made if you laughing, smiling, throwing concepts and having an important f*****g time, day 3 with @arilennox @bryanmichaelcox @elleirbmi @antclemons @jahajohnson,” Dupri wrote within the caption.

Lennox responded to the submit within the remark part. “You’re all the things,” she wrote with a smiling face with hearts emoji. “Thanks for these lovely data.”

This isn’t Lennox’s first time working with Dupri and Cox. She collaborated with them, in addition to Josey and Johntá Austin, on her 2021 single “Stress.”

The RIAA gold-certified single reached No. 1 at R&B radio and on Billboard’s Grownup R&B Airplay chart. 

“Stress” was the lead single from Lennox’s sophomore album, age/intercourse/location. The challenge was ranked No. 5 on Rated R&B’s Greatest R&B Albums of 2022 checklist.

In Could 2023, after concluding her age/intercourse/location Tour, Lennox hit the studio with Dupri.

“Excited to be again within the studio with @arilennox tonight,” Dupri wrote in a since-deleted Instagram submit. Proper now, it’s not recognized if that earlier session is linked to their newest. 

That November, Lennox returned together with her intimate single “Get Shut,” produced by DZL and Wu10. Since then, Lennox has teamed with DMV rapper Foggieraw on “Keep Awhile,” launched in April. 

As for Dupri and Cox, the longtime collaborators co-produced Muni Lengthy’s newest hit, “Made For Me.”

The heartwarming monitor, which obtained a Mariah Carey-assisted remix, was just lately licensed platinum by the RIAA, with over a million equal models offered.

“Made For Me” peaked at No. 20 on the Billboard Sizzling 100 chart and 13 weeks at No. 1 on the R&B Digital Tune Gross sales chart.
