Jordan’s state utility Nepco has signed a 10-year constitution settlement with BW Power for a floating storage unit (FSU) to be moored at Aqaba on the Crimson Sea terminal from Q3 or This autumn of 2026. As soon as the 10-year interval is over Nepco will take possession of the transformed LNG provider, based on BW. Jordan at the moment leases the 750mn cfd Energos Eskimo FSRU which is moored at Aqaba and which has not too long ago imported cargoes on behalf of Egypt (MEES, 13 September).
