After a wait of 4 years, Chrisette Michele lastly yearns for her true “House”
2008 proved to be an ideal place to begin for singer/songwriter Chrisette Michele charting her first 4 CD’s on the Billboard R&B High 10 and touring with Mary J. Blige, Raheem DeVaughn and others. But for the previous few years, creative trails proved to be a brief impediment, although she expressed her frustrations by way of spoken phrase platforms. Fortunately, Michele blazes again in 2024 with a homecoming entitled “House,” her first solo single in 4 years, backed by an upcoming Chrisette Michele Is House Tour.
From the second Michele whispers initially of “House”: “It’s so good to be again,” there may be a lot reduction overflowing from her spirit. Even the CD single cowl hints towards a smiling Michelle, surrounded by a room of suitcases. “House” fills the neo-soul ambiance with some gospel touches, framed by delicate guitar strokes, finger snapping and brass fills. The studio persevering with lighting up with Michele’s soprano merrily scatting alongside and injecting pleasure that she’s again the place she belongs:
“Have you ever ever been afraid to indicate your face at ya people home/Made an enormous mistake/So what, deliver an enormous suitcase.”
