Rotimi is gearing as much as launch his first album in three years.

The singer-songwriter has introduced his new album, In My Coronary heart, In My Veins, will launch Nov. 1 by way of FrontRo Music Group/EMPIRE.

Based on press supplies, the album is described as a “genre-spanning expertise that solidifies Rotimi’s place as a flexible and revolutionary power within the music trade.”

The primary half of In My Coronary heart, In My Veins will encompass R&B-leaning songs, and the second half will discover afrobeats. 

Rotimi’s album announcement is paired with the discharge of the lead single, “ILMSY (Strikes),” an afrobeats groove that hears Rotimi praising his girl. 

“I like me some you / All of the little stuff you do. / All them little phrases you select / All of the methods you progress / Every part that makes you, you,” he sings within the refrain.

“‘I Love Me Some You (ILMSY)’ is the right stability of addictive melody and rhythm,” says Rotimi. “This single is a mirrored image of the blender of cultures and sounds that I symbolize. Really can’t look forward to followers to get this tune and simply know the album is across the nook.”

In My Coronary heart, In My Veins is the follow-up to Rotimi’s 2021 debut album, All or NothingThe album included the singles “Love Any individual,” “What To Do,” “Resolve,” “Don’t You Ever” and “I Do.” The latter tune grew to become a high 10 hit on Billboard’s Grownup R&B Airplay chart in June 2022. 

Other than music, Rotimi continues to make strides in movie and tv. The previous Energy actor was lately forged for a recurring position within the upcoming seventh season of The Chi.
