Gospel vocal band The Group Fireplace speaks of transformation with “About That Evening”

A band of two units of brothers have carved a particular place within the R&B and jazz worlds whereas preaching the scriptures, starting with their 2012 debut CD, It Takes a Village. Since their inception, The Group Fireplace are anchored by Terelle, Justin & Juwan Cooper, and Tajohn & Al-Shamir Hill, within the essence of gospel vocal bands similar to Commissioned and The Winans.

After a sequence of full-lengths and singles that charted on Billboard’s Gospel Air Play (“Extra Than Buddies,” “Once more”) and a highlight efficiency throughout The Stellar Awards, The Group Fireplace comes again in 2024 on “About Final Evening,” mixing quiet storm with a career of religion. Their dexterous harmonies led by Terelle Cooper are dipped into an old-school R&B ballad a la Boyz II Males, however relays a testimonial of a modified life who seeks the Lord in all their selections.
