When he heard what Jeff had cooked up, he immediately thought it was “somewhat bit higher,” and was inspired to jot down one thing alongside to the beat. “So I wrote that theme music that night time within the resort room with Jeff,” he mentioned. “We wrote it, we recorded it, he had a 4 observe… He was like, ‘Simply play it for Quincy.'” In response, Smith simply groaned, as a result of he dreaded telling Quincy Jones, of all individuals, that he believed he had made a greater theme music than he did.
