The Height Is Not the Problem. The Untrained Version of You Is.

The top will not get quieter. The goal is not comfort. The goal is capacity.

The top will not get quieter.

That is the part many people do not want to accept. Higher rooms come with thinner air, louder conversations, sharper consequences, and fewer people who understand the cost of standing there. If you keep waiting for success to feel easy before you accept it, you will keep stepping down from platforms you were built to occupy.

The problem is not the height.

The problem is arriving at the height without training your lungs.

Turbulence does not always mean the plane is falling. Noise does not always mean danger. Pressure does not always mean punishment. Sometimes those things are simply the conditions of rare air.

So the goal is not comfort. The goal is capacity.

Capacity to hear criticism and not collapse. Capacity to receive attention and not disappear. Capacity to carry expectation without handing the crown back. Capacity to stand near the edge without mistaking dizziness for doom.

If your ears are ringing from applause and criticism alike, you may be closer to the life you asked for than you realize.

Breathe deep. Stand tall. Let the noise play.
